Ancient Forests of Western Australia

KOORA honey can only be found in one place on the planet - the pristine, ancient forests of southwestern Western Australia. These ancient forests cover over 3 million acres, free from agricultural and industrial contamination, giving us the purest wild honey.

This is also the only region in the world where Jarrah and Marri trees can be found - making them rare treasures found nowhere else on Earth.

Jarrah honey is especially rare. Jarrah trees take up to 120 years to mature, live for up to 1,000 years, and flower only once every 2 to 4 years depending on climatic conditions.

Our Quality

Purest Honey in the World

In Western Australia we have a saying: "Buy West, Eat Best." KOORA honey is 100% a product of Western Australia - from our forest to the FDA registered bottling facilities.

Every batch is independently tested and certified by a 3rd party laboratory to ensure antimicrobial activity exceeds the rating on the label.

We've tested for glyphosate even though it isn't required - because our honey is harvested from wild, glyphosate-free forests. Our honey has been tested as glyphosate residue free at a that's standard 25× stricter than New Zealand's standard for Manuka honey.

Our Commitment

Protecting the Forests That Make This Possible

The symbiotic relationship between honey bees and the forest helps the entire ecosystem thrive. The flowering plants supply the bees with nectar - the bees provide pollination in return.

Every year, the mining industry applies to State government for rights to destroy parts of these forests. Replanting promises ring hollow because ancient Jarrah trees take 120 years to mature and are home to endangered species found nowhere else on Earth.

Your support of KOORA honey helps make the case to preserve these forests - habitats for endangered black cockatoos, ring-tailed possums, and the last remaining mainland population of quokkas.
